Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Romania: Q3 2022

In Q3 2022, the carpooling and ridesharing market in Romania saw diverse trends across the top five iOS apps. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride had a fluctuating download pattern, starting the quarter with around 12.4K downloads and peaking at 15.4K in the first week of August. Weekly active users also varied, starting at approximately 60.2K, dipping to 52.1K in early August, and then rising to 62.2K by mid-September.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a relatively stable download rate, with weekly downloads ranging between 3.8K and 4.9K. The app's active users showed slight fluctuations, starting at around 49.4K and ending the quarter at approximately 47.7K.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw a gradual decline in downloads, beginning at 1.5K in late June and dropping to around 1.1K by the end of September. Active users, however, showed a slight increase, from about 6.5K at the start of the quarter to 7.1K towards the end.

BlackCab experienced growth in downloads throughout Q3, beginning with just over 200 downloads and reaching a peak of 740 in early September.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed consistent download numbers, ranging from 286 to 498 per week. Active users also steadily increased from 2.1K to 2.6K over the quarter.
